How-To: Tile Your Labels
Making EVEN BIGGER Labels
“Tiling” refers to printing multiple strips of supply and assembling them to form a complete sign. Supply strips can be tiled onto a sign placard to create a sign that can be permanently installed or used in multiple locations.
Tiling signs is a simple process: First, place a single strip onto the application surface to provide a reference point for the rest of the supply strips. Then for each successive strip, peel off just one edge of the liner and apply the exposed adhesive to the surface. If the supply is properly lined up with the first strip, peel off the rest of the liner and complete the application.
Do not overlap the labels when tiling a sign. This creates ridges that can trap moisture, advance peeling and appear unprofessional. Repeat these steps until the sign is complete.
